The SendingStone review

Vampiric Touch is a powerful spell that can greatly benefit a warlock or wizard, especially in combat situations. Its casting time of 1 action makes it quick and easy to use, and the damage it deals – 3d6 necrotic – is significant. The spell also has a concentration duration of up to 1 minute, which can be very helpful in sustained battles.

One of the most interesting and unique aspects of Vampiric Touch is that it allows the caster to regain hit points equal to half of the damage dealt. This can make the spell a powerful tool for self-healing, especially if the caster is in a dangerous or difficult situation. The spell is also versatile enough to be used in combination with other spells or abilities to increase its effectiveness.

Overall, Vampiric Touch is a great addition to a warlock or wizard's spell arsenal. It can deal significant damage while also providing the caster with some much-needed healing. Its concentration duration and quick casting time make it an ideal choice for combat situations, and its unique mechanics can make it a useful tool in a variety of different scenarios.
