Tribal warriors live beyond civilization, most often subsisting on fishing and hunting. Each tribe acts in accordance with the wishes of its chief, who is the greatest or oldest warrior of the tribe or a tribe member blessed by the gods.
Pack Tactics: The warrior has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the warrior's allies is within 5 ft. of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Spear: Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage, or 5 (1d8 + 1) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.
The Tribal Warrior in Dungeons and Dragons has a low challenge rating of 1/8, reflective of their basic combat abilities. They have low charisma and intelligence stats, but decent constitution and armor class. They can speak any one language and could fit into any alignment. The Tribal Warrior is not a particularly impressive or unique character, but could be used as a stepping stone for beginning players to learn the mechanics of combat and roleplaying. Overall, they are a basic and unremarkable character option.
Tribal Warrior is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Tribal Warrior Pathfinder edition. Want to use Tribal Warrior in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
