Nobles wield great authority and influence as members of the upper class, possessing wealth and connections that can make them as powerful as monarchs and generals. A noble often travels in the company of guards, as well as servants who are commoners.
The noble’s statistics can also be used to represent courtiers who aren’t of noble birth.
Rapier: Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d8 + 1) piercing damage.
Parry: The noble adds 2 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the noble must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.
Noble is a non-threatening, low-level character in Dungeons and Dragons, with a Challenge Rating of only 1/8. They have decent charisma and intelligence stats, making them useful in social situations and negotiations. However, their lower constitution and hit points make them vulnerable in combat. Their alignment can vary, leaving room for players to create a variety of noble characters with different motivations and goals. Overall, Noble is a solid choice for players looking for a character focused on diplomacy and intrigue, but not suited for frontline combat.
Noble is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Noble Pathfinder edition. Want to use Noble in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
