The SendingStone review

Misty Step, a 2nd level Conjuration spell available to Sorcerers, Warlocks and Wizards, allows the caster to instantly teleport up to 30 feet away to an unoccupied space they can see. This spell is a highly versatile tool that enables casters to quickly escape danger, reposition themselves in combat, or traverse difficult terrain. With its short casting time, Misty Step doesn't use up much of a caster's action economy, allowing them to use their move and attack actions more freely. Its only drawback is that it can only target the caster themselves, whereas other teleport spells such as Dimension Door can transport a group of people. Despite this, Misty Step remains a popular and useful spell in many magic users' spellbooks.

Misty Step is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Misty Step Pathfinder edition. Want to use Misty Step in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
