This spell repairs a single break or tear in an object you touch, such as broken chain link, two halves of a broken key, a torn clack, or a leaking wineskin. As long as the break or tear is no larger than 1 foot in any dimension, you mend it, leaving no trace of the former damage.
This spell can physically repair a magic item or construct, but the spell can't restore magic to such an object.
The spell Mending is a versatile and useful tool for any spellcaster, with a casting time of only one minute and a range of touch. It can be used to repair any damaged object, from a broken wagon wheel to a cracked wand. The material component of two lodestones is easily obtained, making this spell accessible to most casters. While it may not be the most powerful spell, its utility and ease of use make it a valuable addition to any caster's arsenal.
Mending is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Mending Pathfinder edition. Want to use Mending in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
