You touch a nonmagical weapon. Until the spell ends, that weapon becomes a magic weapon with a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the bonus increases to +2. When you use a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the bonus increases to +3.
The # magic weapon spell is thought to be one of the most versatile spells in Dungeons & Dragons. It allows a player to make a normal weapon into a magical one, which can be incredibly useful in combat. Not only does this spell increase a weapon's damage output, but it also bypasses damage resistance and immunities. The concentration requirement can be a downside, but the duration of the spell can make up for this. Overall, this is a great spell for players who want to enhance their combat abilities.
Magic Weapon is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Magic Weapon Pathfinder edition. Want to use Magic Weapon in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
