Choose one creature that you can see within range. The target begins a comic dance in place - shuffling, tapping its feet, and capering for the duration. Creatures that can't be charmed are immune to this spell.
A dancing creature must use all its movement to dance without leaving its space and has disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws and attack rolls. While the target is affected by this spell, other creatures have advantage on attack rolls against it. As an action, a dancing creature makes a Wisdom saving throw to regain control of itself. On a successful save, the spell ends.
The spell Irresistible Dance is a powerful tool for bards and wizards alike. While some may argue that it's not as useful in combat as other spells, its ability to incapacitate enemies and disrupt their movements can be extremely effective. The spell's range of 30 feet allows for a wide range of targets, and its duration of up to one minute means that it can be used in a variety of situations. It does require concentration to maintain, however, which limits the caster's ability to cast other spells during its duration. Overall, Irresistible Dance is a valuable addition to any spellcaster's arsenal.
Irresistible Dance is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Irresistible Dance Pathfinder edition. Want to use Irresistible Dance in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
