Up to ten berries appear in your hand and are infused with magic for the duration. A creature can use its action to eat one berry. Eating a berry restores 1 hit point, and the berry provides enough nourishment to sustain a creature for one day.
The berries lose their potency if they have not been consumed within 24 hours of the casting of this spell.
Goodberry is a first-level spell available to Druids and Rangers in Dungeons & Dragons. It requires only a sprig of mistletoe as a material component and has a casting time of one action. Upon touching a handful of berries, the spell instantly creates up to ten magical fruits that can sustain a creature for an entire day. Not only is it a valuable tool for survival in the wilderness, but it is also a useful healing spell that can be used in emergencies. For this reason, Goodberry is a go-to for many Druids and Rangers to keep their parties healthy and fed.
Goodberry is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Goodberry Pathfinder edition. Want to use Goodberry in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
