The SendingStone review

Glibness is an 8th-level spell available to bards and warlocks in Dungeons and Dragons. It has a casting time of 1 action and a duration of 1 hour, with a range of self. When cast, the spell imbues the user with a powerful ability to deceive others, granting them a bonus of up to +10 on all Charisma checks made to lie, flirt, or otherwise manipulate others. This makes the spell highly useful for social situations, allowing the user to bypass obstacles and gain the upper hand in negotiations.

While Glibness is undoubtedly powerful, it has its limitations. It only affects the user, meaning that allies won't benefit from its effects. Additionally, it doesn't necessarily make the user more persuasive or charming, just more convincing when they choose to deceive others. As such, the spell is most effective when used in conjunction with other Charisma-based abilities and skills, such as Persuasion or Deception. Some players may find Glibness to be too situational, as it only comes into play in certain social situations, but others will appreciate its versatility and power in those situations. Ultimately, whether or not to use Glibness depends on the player's playstyle and the types of encounters they expect to face.

Glibness is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Glibness Pathfinder edition. Want to use Glibness in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
