Sting: Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 10 (3d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.
The Giant Wasp, with its low AC and CON, may seem like an easy opponent, but its fast and agile DEX and deadly Sting attack make it a formidable opponent. Though not particularly intelligent, it has enough instincts to hunt effectively, making it a potentially deadly encounter for adventurers. While its low CHA may make it unsuitable as a companion, its Unaligned alignment makes it unpredictable and capable of being persuaded to aid or fight against the party. Overall, the Giant Wasp is a well-balanced creature that can add variety and challenge to any adventure.
Giant Wasp is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Giant Wasp Pathfinder edition. Want to use Giant Wasp in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
