Amphibious: The crab can breathe air and water.
Claw: Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 11). The crab has two claws, each of which can grapple only one target.
The Giant Crab, with its unaligned alignment and low charisma and intelligence stats, is not particularly exciting as a creature in Dungeons and Dragons. Its passive perception of 9 and claw attack with a +3 bonus are its only noteworthy features. With a challenge rating of only 1/8, it is not a formidable opponent and would likely pose little challenge for a group of adventurers. Overall, the Giant Crab seems more like a filler creature than an essential addition to any D&D campaign.
Giant Crab is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Giant Crab Pathfinder edition. Want to use Giant Crab in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
