You touch a willing creature and bestow a limited ability to see into the immediate future. For the duration, the target can't be surprised and has advantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws. Additionally, other creatures have disadvantage on attack rolls against the target for the duration.
This spell immediately ends if you cast it again before its duration ends.
Foresight is a powerful ninth-level spell that requires a long casting time of one minute and a hummingbird feather as a material component. Its eight-hour duration makes it a useful tool for planning and strategizing, but its range is limited to touch. Only bards, druids, warlocks, and wizards can cast this spell. With Foresight, the recipient gains an uncanny sense of intuition and insight, allowing them to have advantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws. It's a useful spell for dungeon-delving or preparing for a high-stakes social encounter. Overall, it's a valuable addition to any spellcaster's repertoire.
Foresight is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Foresight Pathfinder edition. Want to use Foresight in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
