The SendingStone review

Continual Flame is a spell that creates a long-lasting source of light, making it useful for illuminating dark areas or as a permanent torch. While it can be cast by both clerics and wizards, some argue that it may not be worth the 2nd-level spell slot for wizards who have access to other spells, such as Light, that can create temporary sources of light. Additionally, the cost of the material component, a 50gp ruby, may be prohibitive for some players. Nonetheless, for situations where a long-lasting source of light is crucial, Continual Flame can be a useful spell to have on hand.

Continual Flame is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Continual Flame Pathfinder edition. Want to use Continual Flame in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
