A shimmering barrier extends out from you in a 10-foot radius and moves with you, remaining centered on you and hedging out creatures other than undead and constructs.
The barrier lasts for the duration. The barrier prevents an affected creature from passing or reaching through. An affected creature can cast spells or make attacks with ranged or reach weapons through the barrier.
If you move so that an affect creature is forced to pass through the barrier, the spell ends.
The Antilife Shell spell seems incredibly powerful as it creates a 10-foot radius around the caster where no plant or animal life can survive. It limits the movement of enemies who rely on natural abilities and provides great protection against them. Additionally, it acts as a great barrier to prevent enemies from reaching the caster. However, this spell needs a level of concentration to be maintained, limiting the druid's ability to cast spells requiring such. The spell's effectiveness depends on the situation and the enemies being faced, but it's a potent tool for any druid with a clear understanding of how to use it.
Antilife Shell is D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) 5th edition content, but other TTRPGs may have their own version such as a Antilife Shell Pathfinder edition. Want to use Antilife Shell in a VTT (virtual tabletop)? Try out SendingStone for free today!
